Brownwood News – The Brownwood Rotary Club will be hosting their Annual Golf Tournament on Saturday, June 2nd, at the Brownwood Country Club. A shotgun start will take place at 1:30 p.m. The tournament will be a 4-person scramble, and cost for entry is $100 per person. The tournament was originally slated to be held in April, but was rescheduled due to unfavorable weather.

 

 

The tournament will feature skills contests like closest to the drive and straightest drive. There will also be a Lake Green challenge. Cash prizes will be awarded including Par-3 Hole in One.

Registration will begin at 11:30 a.m. Lunch will be provided from 11:30 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. During that time there will also be a Putting and Chipping Contest. Finals for the Putting and Chipping Contest will be announced following play.

The tournament funds will benefit Brownwood and Early High School Seniors by providing scholarships.
