The BRMC Volunteers are pleased to announce their volunteers of the month for August and September 2013.
BRMC Volunteer Stephanie Price (above left) was selected as the August 2013 BRMC Volunteer of the Month.
Stephanie Price has been a BRMC Volunteer since 2000. She volunteers at the BRMC Volunteers’ Information Desk where she provides patients and visitors with vital information about BRMC. Stephanie has over 260 hours of volunteer service at BRMC.
BRMC Volunteer JoAnn Hurt (above right) was selected as the September 2013 BRMC Volunteer of the Month.JoAnn Hurt has been a BRMC Volunteer since 2002. She volunteers at the BRMC Surgery Waiting Room Volunteer Service Area where she provides family members and friends of patients having surgery. She has over 2600 hours of volunteer service at BRMC.
The Volunteer of the Month Award is given by the BRMC Volunteers each month during the year. Recipients of the Award receive recognition and lunch at the Executive Board Meeting held in the month following the month for which they are selected. Each BRMC Volunteer of the Month recipient is recognized with a framed Volunteer of the Month certificate, a ‘For the Love of a Child’ pin which represents the motto of The Texas Association of Healthcare Volunteers for the 2013 – 2014 Volunteer Year and a ‘BRMC Volunteer of the Month’ bar.
