Late Friday night, Brownwood PD Officer Aaron Taylor saw a suspicious vehicle parked at Trigg Park and began an investigation.  A woman identified as Amber Dawn Beam, 27, of Early was sitting in the driver’s seat of the vehicle and Taylor asked her why she was in the park so late.  The police report states that Beam said that she stopped at the park so her friend, 24-year-old Cody Shook, could go to the bathroom.  About that time, Shook emerged from a wooded area and police had Beam and Shook sit on a nearby railroad tie.

The police report says that officers detected the smell of burnt marijuana in the vehicle and soon found a baggy of pills wedged between the ground and the railroad tie near where the suspects were sitting.  The report states that there was various pills, a pipe with a bulbous end containing a crystal like substance, & marijuana found.

Police car video captured Beam take something from her pocket and jam it by the railroad tie which is believed to be the baggy of pills according to the police report.

Beam was arrested and charged with Tampering with or Fabricating Physical Evidence, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of a Dangerous Drug, Possession of Controlled Substance in a Drug Free Zone, and Manufacturing/Delivery of a Controlled Substance.  Shook was charged with Possession of Marijuana.
