The Brownwood Police Department released reports regarding several arrests on Monday in unrelated cases.

On Monday, Brownwood Police arrested two people on charges of child abandonment.  27-year-old Trisha Renee Bales of Brownwood and her boyfriend 21-year-old Daryl Jeffery Anderson were arrested on the charges.  Police reports state that a man claiming to be the young child’s father found that Bales and Anderson had left the child home alone while they ran some errands.  The report indicates that a neighbor was asked to check in on the child while they were gone, but the neighbor found the doors of the residence to be locked.  Both Bales and Anderson were arrested and taken to the Brown County Jail.

In a separate incident on Monday, officer Brandon Miller was dispatched to a residence on Stephen F. Austin regarding a domestic disturbance.  Upon investigating the incident, officer Miller arrested 63-year-old Ronald Lee Adams of Brownwood for unlawful restraint.

In an unrelated case on Monday, Brownwood Police officer Chris Hill made an arrest of 45-year-old Freddie Lee Kite of Brownwood in the 700 block of W. Commerce.  Police reports state that Kite was found in an ally behind a business and was having difficulty walking and fell to the ground as Hill arrived.  The officer arrested Kite for Public Intoxication and was transported to Brownwood Regional Medical Center for evaluation and then to the Brown County Jail.
