The following information was compiled from Brownwood Police reports and Brown County jail records. All cases below are unrelated.
–Officer Brandon Miller stopped a suspicious vehicle Friday night at the Wes-T-Go convenient store on Coggin Ave. A male passenger Jessie Wayne Crouch, 31, of Brownwood and a female driver were in the vehicle. Police reports indicate that the female had an emergency protective order against Crouch so he was arrested.
Office Miller’s report goes on to say that on the way to jail, Crouch admitted to having something “in a sock” upon being questioned by the officer. At the jail, Miller found a sock in Crouch’s pants containing a glass pipe and a gold container with 6 baggies containing methamphetamine according to police reports. He was charged with possession of a controlled substance as well.
–Early Saturday morning, Brownwood Police were called to the Town & Country store on W. Commerce in reference to a possible intoxicated person. Police reports indicate that they made contact with 43-year-old Jacqueline Marie Sessions of Lake Brownwood. Upon further investigation, police found a variety of drugs including Carisoprodol, Phentermine, Dicyclomire, and pill bottles containing marijuana. Sessions was arrested for manufacturing/delivery of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana.
–Sunday afternoon Brownwood police were called to a residence at the 1200 block of Vincent on a report of possible drug use. Police reports state that they made contact with 23-year-old Austin Griffin and three other males. Upon a consented search of the residence, police located a baggie of pink pills on Griffin’s bed according to police reports. The seven pills were identified at 750mg Darvoset and Griffin was arrested for possession of a controlled substance since he did not have a prescription for them.

–Late Friday night, Brownwood police were called to Texas Express Store on Belle Plain regarding a theft. 22-year-old Jerry Allen of Brownwood was arrested for theft and criminal trespass. Police reports allege that Allen had taken a 12-pack of beer from the store and already had a previous criminal trespass warning issued against him.
–39-year-old John Brown was arrested on Sunday morning for driving while license invalid.
–Police arrested 49-year-old Richard Erick Willadsen for public intoxication in the 1600 block of Avenue E on Sunday evening.
–Police arrested 44-year-old Cheryl Ann Carpenter of Brownwood on Sunday night. She was charged with injury to a child and injury to an elderly individual as a result of a domestic dispute.
–Sunday morning police stopped 23-year-old Jessica Sandoval for speeding. She was arrested for driving while license invalid.
