Man Dressed As Woman Questioned
On Tuesday, officer Kimberly Cantu of the Brownwood Police Department was called to Howard Payne University on a report from HPU security of a suspicious person on the campus.
Officer Cantu arrived and made contact with the man who was sitting in his vehicle. Police reports state that the man was on campus because he saw a girl in a clothing store a few days earlier and thought she was cute. The man told police that after searching for the woman’s vehicle, he found it parked on HPU campus and left a note asking her to call him. He also told police that he had not tried to contact the woman before, and he did not know her name.
Cantu asked the man to step out of his vehicle and stand near the back. According to reports, when the man exited the vehicle he was observed wearing a pink spandex top with a cut off midriff, a sports bra with fake breast inserts, blue jean daisy duke shorts with white ruffle at the hem, panty hose and cowboy boots.
The report states that when Cantu asked the man why he was wearing such an outfit he said that he had a fetish for women’s clothes.
The man was issued a criminal trespass warning and released.
