Wednesday, May 16th
9:35 a.m. A Brownwood Police Officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for expired registration in the 1500 block of Davis Lane. During the stop, the driver was found to be operating the vehicle while intoxicated and was arrested. The passenger was also taken into custody for an active warrant out of Hays County.
11:00 a.m. A Brownwood Police Officer was dispatched to 500 block of S. Broadway in reference to a burglary of a motor vehicle.
12:55 p.m. Brownwood Police responded to a south side residence in reference to a domestic disturbance. An investigation was conducted and a known female was taken into custody for Assault Family Violence.
8:54 p.m. A Brownwood Police Officer responded to the 700 block of Oak Street in regards to a scam call.
