While on patrol, a victim came to the Brown County Law Enforcement Center at 1050 W. Commerce in Brownwood, Texas in reference to a vehicle burglary. A report was made.

While on patrol on March 2, 2019, at approximately 0700 hours, Officers were dispatched to the 700 block of W. Commerce in reference to a panic alarm. Officers arrived and learned a burglary had occurred. The burglary was investigated. Fingerprints and video surveillance were recovered from the scene. A report was made for Burglary of a Building.

On Saturday March 2, 2019, Officers responded to 401 West Commerce (Walmart) in reference to a theft. After an investigation David Duhr was taken into custody for theft and transported to the Brown County Jail without further incident.

On Sunday March 3, 2019, Officers responded to the 1600 block of Wood Street in reference to a runaway juvenile. After speaking to the foster parent, a report was generated for the missing juvenile.

On Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at approximately 3:08 PM, an officer was dispatched to the 3300 block of 1st St. in reference to a theft. The officer arrived on scene and spoke with the complainant in regards to the incident. A report has been made.

On Sunday, March 3, 2019 at approximately 9:38 AM, an officer was dispatched to the 1000 block of W Commerce St in reference to an assault. The officer arrived on scene and spoke with the complainant in regards to the incident. A report has been made.

On Sunday March 3, 2019, officers were dispatched to the 400 block of E Commerce for a call regarding criminal mischief. Officers were notified that the suspect had left the scene on foot north towards Riverside Park. Officers were then notified by dispatch the suspect had made contact with the reporting party again. The reporting party advised the suspect was inside of the shopping area of Walmart. When the suspect noticed officers in Walmart, he ran out the rear door of the establishment. The surrounding area was search, but the suspect was not found. A report for criminal mischief was made.

On Saturday March 2, 2019 at approximately 11:00 PM officers were dispatched to the 1600 block of Ave B for a report of theft. When officers arrived the reporting party stated a small yellow gas powered “pit bike” had been taken from under the carport adjacent to the home. The reporting party stated the bike had been taken from the home sometime within the past 24 hours. A report was made for the theft.

On Saturday March 2, 2019 at approximately 9:14 PM, an officer spoke to a witness by telephone. The officer was prompted to call the witness by 911-operators in reference to possible fuel pump skimmer activity.

On 3/2/2019 at 7:00 PM, Officers were dispatched to the 1900 Blk. of Ave. B in reference to a domestic disturbance. A report was taken to be passed on for further investigation.

On 3/2/2019 at 5:00 PM, Officers were dispatched to the 1500 Blk. of Terrace Dr. in reference to a domestic disturbance. A report was taken to be passed on for further investigation.

On 3/3/19, at approximately 1:48 AM, Officers were dispatched to a north Brownwood address in reference to a 911 hang up call. A report for assault offensive touch family violence was generated.

On March 3, 2019, at approximately 11:12 PM, Brownwood PD Officers were dispatched to the 4400 block of Brookdale in reference to suspicious activity. During the course of the incident, an identified white male, fled from the scene in a vehicle. A vehicle pursuit was initiated and traveled along several roads in the southern part of the county. The vehicle failed to negotiate a turn at a “T intersection” on CR 236 and crashed through a fence. The suspect was able to flee on foot and has not been located at time of this report. A warrant will be sought against the suspect for Evading Arrest/ Detention in a vehicle.
