Friday, July 27th

  • 8:00 a.m. Brownwood Police responded to the 1000 block of La Monte Street in reference to a burglary.
  • 4:27 p.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to an address on Melwood in reference to an assault.
  • 9:00 p.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2400 block of Southside in reference to an assault.
  • 10:18 p.m Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 3700 block of Savoy Drive regarding a burglary.
  • (No time noted) A Brown County Sheriff’s Deputy was dispatched to CR 116 on a theft call. The complainant advised unknown persons had stolen numerous metal items from the property.

Saturday, July 28th

  • 2:10 a.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to a business on Commerce Street regarding disorderly conduct.
  • 8:13 a.m. Brownwood Police issued a citation for possession of drug paraphernalia.
  • 9:02 a.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 400 block of W. Chandler in reference to a burglary.
  • 12:01 p.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 300 block of Bailey in reference to a theft.
  • 4:43 p.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to 2400 Monterrey Drive in reference to criminal trespassing. An arrest was made.
  • (No time noted) A Brown County Sheriff’s Deputy responded to a domestic disturbance at CR 351, in Blanket. A female victim called 911 to report Jerry Don Wallace Jr., as identified in the report, was breaking items in the residence with a baseball bat. Deputies arrived, and after an investigation, Jerry Don Wallace Jr. was placed in custody for Terroristic Threat Against Family Member, Prohibited weapon, and Assault Family Violence.
  • (No time noted) A Brown County Sheriff’s Deputy responded to a call concerning two subjects arguing over an animal. A criminal trespass warning was issued.

Sunday, July 29th

  • (No time noted) A Brown County Sheriff’s Deputy Jose Rodriguez was dispatched to Brownwood Regional Medical Center in regards to a dog bite.
