Tuesday, July 24
- 7:00 a.m. Brownwood Police responded to the 1700 block of 10th Street in reference to stolen property.
- 8:45 a.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1200 block of Austin Avenue in reference to counterfeit currency.
- 10:39 a.m. Brownwood Police initiated a traffic stop in the 2300 block of Southside Drive. A probable search was conducted and drug paraphernalia was located. A citation was issued.
- 5:31 p.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2300 block of Southside Drive in reference to a terroristic threat.
- 7:23 p.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to a local hotel/motel for a harassment report.
- 9:14 p.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to a north Brownwood business for a reckless driver. According to jail logs, 25 year old Pierce McGuire of Albuquerque, was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated.
Wednesday, July 25
- 1:00 a.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1500 block of Southgate in reference to Suspicious Activity. Upon arrival, the officer met with two subjects on the scene. Through investigation, one subject, identified in jail logs as 50 year old James Glenn Worsham, was found to have confirmed warrants. According to the police report, Worsham purposely gave false/fictitious information to avoid being found to have warrants. Worsham was placed under arrest for the warrant. After a search, the officer found Worsham was also in possession of Marijuana less than two ounces within 1,000 feet from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. James Glenn Worsham was transported for Warrant – Out of Jurisdiction, Failure to Identify – Fugitive Intentionally Gives False Information, and Possession of Marijuana < 2 ounces in a Drug Free Zone.
