Sunday, December 16 2018
- At approximately 4:17 a.m. Brownwood police Officers were dispatched to the 2800 block of Southside for a trespassing call. When police arrived the suspect was not on the property.
Monday December 31, 2018
- A Brownwood Police Officer was dispatched to 2811 Coggin Ave in reference to a dog on dog attack. After speaking with both dog owners an information report was generated. Citation for unvaccinated animals and a written warning for offense unrestrained Dog
Thursday January 3
- Officers were dispatched to 500 BLK Main St for a call for theft. A report was generated and an arrest for warrants was made.
- At approximately 11:20 p.m. officers conducted a traffic stop in the 1600 block of 17th street. After an investigation the drive was found to be driving while intoxicate & transported to Brownwood Regional Medical Center for a blood Draw, and then to Brown County Jail.
Friday, January 4
- At approximately 11:00a.m. Brownwood Police Officers were dispatched to Brownwood Regional Medical Center to take a report for an assault that occurred in Brownwood. Police made contact with complainant and a report was made for assault family violence.
- A BPD Officer was dispatched to the 1500 blk of Crocket Dr for a report of Theft. After the officer talked to complainant, they stated that they would like to pursue criminal charges for Theft Property >= $100<$750 . A report will follow.
- Officers were dispatched to 2000 blk Brady Ave Apartment for Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle. The vehicle was entered into TCIC and NCIC and a report was made.
- A Brownwood PD Officer was dispatched to the 1200 block of Ave A in reference to a hit and run accident. Information was obtained and photographs were taken of the vehicle. No suspect or suspect vehicle information is available at this time.
- A Brownwood Police Officer got a public service call by dispatch for Debit/ Credit Card Abuse. I talked to complainant. Complainant would like to pursue criminal charges for Debit/ Credit Card Abuse . A report will follow.
- Saturday, January 5, 2019 I, S. Lopez (6A2) was dispatched to the intersection of Magnolia and 1st St. The complainant advised that there were loose dogs in the roadway. Both owners were located and citations issued.
Saturday, January 5
- At approximately 4:47 p.m. Brownwood Police officers were dispatched to the 400 block of W. Commerce for a theft. Police officers made a report for theft
- An officer responded to the 1500 block of Melwood in reference to illegal dumping. Dispatch stated that the caller advised that a male subject that was driving a maroon Ford F-250 had dumped trash to the left of Brownwood Iron and Metal. A report was generated.
- At 5:45 p.m. an officer was dispatched to 4400 blk Edgewood Dr. in reference to criminal trespassing. One citation for drug paraphernalia was issued.
- A Brownwood PD Officer was dispatched to 400 block of Main St in reference to a possible theft. A wallet and its contents was missing, possibly left at Wal-Mart, then stolen. Information was obtained and this report was generated.
Sunday, January 6
- At approximately 2:30 p.m. an officer was dispatched to 1050 W. Commerce (Brown County Law Enforcement Center) in reference to a domestic disturbance. They met with the victim and completed an investigation for Assault Causing Bodily Injury- Family Violence.
- Officers responded to the 1000 Blk. of Coggin Ave for a Driving While Intoxicated call. Upon arrival, an investigation was initiated and an adult male was subsequently arrested for Public Intoxication.
