Wednesday, January 9
- At approximately 12:36 a.m. a Brownwood Police Officer conducted a traffic stop in the 2000 block of County Road 234 on a gold passenger car for expired registration. Jeffrey Lee Schafer was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance PG1>-1G<4G.
Wednesday January 16
- At approximately 11:54a.m. an officer met with building owner at the Law Enforcement Center in reference to burglary of a building. A suspect has been identified and a report has been made.
- Officers were dispatched to the 1800 block of Ave D for a welfare check on a possible intoxicated person. The individual was checked for possible medical issues, seen by Lifeguard EMS, then subsequently arrested for public intoxication.
- Officers were dispatched to the 1800 block of Belle Plain for a burglary of a coin operated machine. When officers arrived fingerprints and photographs were taken from the scene. A report was generated.
