January 30, 2018

  • 12:25 pm – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the Law Enforcement Center in reference to theft of money. Brownwood Officers were dispatched to the Brownwood Police Department for 2 juvenile suspects. An assault report has been generated.
  • 6:31 pm – Brownwood Police were dispatched to 400 blk W Commerce St. in reference to theft. A male attempted to steal several items from the store and fled when confronted by employees. The suspect was identified and an active report was generated regarding the incident.
  • Brownwood Officers were dispatched to a south Brownwood residence in reference to a theft. An investigation was conducted and a report was generated.

January 31, 2018

  • 5:52 am – Brownwood Police responded to the 2700 block of Ave D in regards to a terroristic threat call. A case number was generated and the case is still active.
  • 4:33 pm – Brownwood Police Officers responded the 2800 block of Southside Drive in regards a domestic disturbance call. The suspect was issued a citation for assault offensive contact family violence and the incident was documented.
  • Brownwood Police Department & Brown County narcotics investigators conducted an investigation in the 1400 block of Coggin Avenue regarding possible drug activity. While at the location, investigators recovered a quantity of hydrocodone tablets, subject was arrested and charged with the possession of a controlled substance in a drug free zone.

February 1, 2018

  • 4:00 am – Officers with the Brownwood Police Department responded to the 3700 block of Savoy Dr. in reference to an Unwanted Person. Subject fled the scene prior to Officers arrival. A report was generated for this incident.
  • 2:53 pm – Brownwood Police responded to the 2600 block of Hillsboro Street in regards to a wanted person call. A runaway juvenile was located and Jessica Walton was arrested for two Brown County Sheriff’s Department warrants for Delivery of a Controlled Substance and Aggravated Assault with Deadly Weapon.
  • 9:14 pm – A pedestrian stop was conducted for walking on the roadway when sidewalk is provided. Suspect was arrested for Possession of Controlled Substance PG1 <1G and Tamper/Fabricate Physical Evidence with Intent to Impair.
  • Brownwood Police responded to the 2600 block of Hillsboro Street in regards to a wanted person call. February 2, 2018

  • 1:26 am – Brownwood Police conducted a traffic stop on a maroon SUV for disregarding a traffic control device. Subject was arrested for Possession of Controlled Substance PG3 < 28g Drug Free Zone and Possession of Marijuana < 2oz Drug Free Zone.
