Friday, December 1

  • At approximately6:59 p.m. a BPD officer was dispatched to the 400 block of W Commerce St. in reference to a theft. They arrived on scene and spoke with the complainant in regards to the incident. A report has been generated.

Monday, December 3

  • At 8:30 a.m. while on duty at 2100 Slayden (Brownwood High School) The resource officer was contacted by Principal Mitch Moore via cell phone. Moore advised that marijuana had been found on a student and requested police assistance and advised that he would meet the officer in the resource office of the campus. An investigation determined that a juvenile was in possession of marijuana and taken into custody and transported to the Brownwood Police Department and processed. He was then transported to the Juvenile Detention Center and released to the staff on duty.

Wednesday, December 5

  • At approximately 4:33 p.m. a Brownwood Police officer was dispatched to a south Brownwood address regarding an assault. An investigation and a report were completed
  • At approximately 4:26 p.m. a Brownwood Police Officer conducted a traffic stop on a tan passenger car for improper right hand turn in the 300 block of E Adams St. Amber Leann Snider was arrested for Driving While License Invalid With Previous Convictions, and Larry Pierson was arrested for two outstanding local warrants
  • At approximately 3:47 p.m. a BPD officer was dispatched to a South Brownwood business in reference to an accident. Upon arrival an investigation and a report was completed.

Thursday, December 6

  • At approximately 12:30 p.m. an officer was dispatched to a north Brownwood business regarding a theft. An investigation and a report was completed.
  • At approximately 1150 hours, a Brownwood Police Officer conducted a welfare check on a white male in the 2300 block of SUS 377. Narcotics were found. Christopher Allen was arrest for Possession of Controlled Substance PG3<28g Drug Free Zone and Possession of Controlled Substance not Penalty Group Drug Free Zone.
  • Brownwood Police Officers were dispatched to a north Brownwood address for a theft report. Information was gathered and a report has been generated.
  • At approximately 6:23 p.m. an officer was dispatched to 1050 W Commerce St. to make a phone call in reference to a forgery. I spoke with the involved parties about the incident and a report has been generated.
