December 3
- At approximately 9:00 p.m. A Brownwood Police Officer was dispatched to the 1000 block of Coggin in reference to a Domestic Disturbance. One half of the domestic disturbance was located at the 800 block of Avenue D. During the investigation, the suspect attempted to discard a broken glass pipe commonly used for smoking methamphetamines. The suspect was then placed under arrest for Tampering/ Fabricating Physical Evidence. The glass pipe also had enough crystal residue which tested positive for Methamphetamines. The suspect was within 1000 feet of a drug-free zone. The suspect was also charged with Possession of Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1 < 1Gram. A report was made.
- A Brownwood PD Officer made a traffic stop on a vehicle near the intersection of Ave D and Austin Ave. The Officer detected the odor of burnt marijuana coming from inside the vehicle. A search was conducted and a bag of marijuana was located. I subject was arrested for possession of marijuana. Two other subjects were issued citations for possession of drug paraphernalia and released.
