Sunday, December 16 

At 1:20 p.m. A police officer was dispatched to 506 Milton for a dog bite. Upon arrival they made contact with the victim. Owner was located, dog was quarantined and issued citation.

Monday, December 17 

Around 10:36 p.m. a BPD Officer was dispatched to 1 Durango Ct. for an assault. Upon arriving, the officer spoke with the complainant who stated his co-worker struck him. A report was generated and investigation continues.

Friday, December 21 

At 9:58 p.m. Brownwood Officers were dispatched to the 700 block of Coggin Avenue in reference to an assault that had occurred at another location. A report was generated for Assault w/ Injury – Family Violence.

Saturday, December 22

While on patrol on at approximately 8:30 p.m. a police officer was dispatched to a welfare check of a subject at 1600 block of Coggin. The subject was located and investigation showed the subject was in Possession of Controlled Substance Penalty Group 3 < 28 grams in a Drug-Free Zone. A report was made.

Sunday, December 23

Officers responded to the 500 Blk. of E. Commerce St., Brownwood for an Assault call. Upon arrival, an investigation was initiated and an adult male was subsequently placed under arrest for Assault, Family Violence.

At approximately 8:00 a.m. Officers with the Brownwood Police Department responded to a North Brownwood Business in reference to a fire hydrant being struck by a vehicle. A report has been completed.

While on patrol a Brownwood police officer was dispatched to the 300 block of Center Avenue in reference to an unconscious intoxicated person. Upon arrival, the subject was located and found in Possession of Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1 < 1 gram in a Drug-Free Zone . The subject was also found to have a Motion to Revoke Warrant for Injury to a Child. An arrest and a report was made.

At approximately 10:00 a.m. Brownwood Police Officers responded to a call for criminal mischief in the 2300 block of 13th street. Police made contact with the complainant and a report has been generated.

At approximately 1:40 p.m. Brownwood Police Officers were dispatched to a South Brownwood Residence in reference to the use of drugs. A male and a female were arrested. A report has been completed.

Officers responded to the 400 Blk. of W. Commerce St., Brownwood, Texas for a theft call. Upon arrival, an investigation was initiated and a report was taken.

Monday, December 24

Officers were dispatched to the 500 block of Main Street for a possible assault. When speaking to the complainant officers were notified that the caller was wanting to pursue charges of theft and interference with a 911 call. A report was made and the investigation is still ongoing.

Brownwood Police Department was dispatched to the 1900 block of Elizabeth, in reference to criminal mischief. An Officer spoke with the complainant and a report was generated for Criminal Mischief greater than/equal to $100 less than $750, Class B Misdemeanor.

At approximately 0459 hours, Officers were dispatched to the 2500 Block of Crockett in reference to a vehicle crash. The vehicle was unoccupied, and photos of the accident were taken. A report was generated.

Tuesday December 25

Officers were made aware of a walk in call at the law enforcement center (1050 W Commerce) for criminal mischief. The complainant said that her brother had keyed her car. A report was made.

Officers were dispatched to the 900 block of 6th Street regarding a theft of a lawn mower. The owner of the mower stated that the mower was stolen from their back yard within the past four days. A theft report was made.

Brownwood Police Officers were dispatched to a north Brownwood residence for a burglary report. Information was gathered and a report has been generated.

A BWPD Officer was called to a residence in the 900 Block of Trigg St. in

reference to terroristic threat. Information was gathered and a report

generated.
