Wednesday, December 19
- At approximately 8:35 p.m. a Brownwood Police Officer initiated a traffic stop in the 1100 block of W Austin Ave. on a vehicle for a traffic violation. The officer made contact with the driver of the vehicle and an investigation was conducted. The driver of the vehicle was placed under arrest and a report has been made.
Thursday December 20
- A BPD Officer was dispatched to the 1500 block of Vine Street for a call of family violence. When they arrived the offender had left the scene. Speaking with the victim he stated that he was pepper sprayed before the offender left. Both subjects were talked to and a report was generated.
- At approximately 1:00 p.m. a BPD conducted a traffic stop at the corner Hwy 377s and Ave D. An investigation took place and the driver was placed under arrest for Possession of marijuana, Failure to identify, Intentionally giving false information and a parole warrant.
- At approximately 5:18 p.m. several officers along with the Brownwood Fire Department were dispatched to a north Brownwood address regarding an accident. Upon arrival an investigation and an arrest was made.
- At approximately 5:00 p.m. Brownwood Police Officers were made aware of an assault at the 500 block of Main Street. A report for this incident has been generated.
- At approximately 8:28 p.m. Officers responded to the 2300 block of Avenue B in reference to a Burglary. After clearing the building a report was generated.
