Monday, December 17

  • An officer responded to the 600 Bk. of Carnegie St., Brownwood, Texas for a Theft call. Upon arrival, an investigation was initiated and a report was taken.
  • Brownwood Police responded to the 3600 block of Durham Avenue in reference to a domestic disturbance. A report was generated for Unlawful Restraint and Assault Family Violence.
  • Officers responded to the 200 Blk. of E. Commerce St., Brownwood, Texas for a Drugs/Narcotics call. An investigation was initiated and an adult female was subsequently arrested for Driving While Intoxicated.
  • At approximately 8:30 a.m. an officer contacted a complainant in reference to a handgun that he wanted to report as stolen. This led to a report being made for theft of a firearm.

Tuesday, December 18

  • A traffic stop was conducted in the 1100 Blk. of Indian Creek Dr., Brownwood , Texas . The adult female operator was subsequently arrested for an outstanding warrant and charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
  • At approximately 12:39 p.m. Officers responded to 1500 Block of Main Street in reference to an accident that had occurred. After an investigation driver was found to be driving while intoxicated. She was transported to the Brownwood Regional Medical Center for a blood draw, and then to Brown County Jail.
  • A BPD Officer responded to a business in north Brownwood for a report of criminal mischief. Upon arrival, employees reported that someone had cut the battery cables on their company delivery truck and had stolen two batteries. A report was generated.
