August 13th

  • 9:00 a.m. Brownwood Police responded to the 1400 block of Avenue B regarding a burglary. The complainant stated items had been stolen from the residence.
  • 9:31 a.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to a south Brownwood residence in reference to a hit and run incident.

August 14th

  • 10:16 a.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to 3rd Street for a animal at large. According to the report a black pit bull was unrestrained. The owner was located and citations were issued due to vaccinations not being current.
  • 6:50 p.m. Brownwood Police responded to the 400 block of West Commerce in reference to a theft.
  • 7:10 p.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2100 block of Calvert Road in reference to an intoxicated individual. Officers located the person lying on the ground next to the street. He appeared to be attempting to get up but was having difficulty. Officers arrested the man for public intoxication.
  • 7:39 p.m. Brownwood Police responded to an address in south Brownwood regarding a theft. The complainant told officers someone on Facebook had stolen money from her Walmart gift card.
  • 9:00 p.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1000 block of Vincent Street in reference to a possible assault.
  • 10:18 p.m. Brownwood Police responded to a north side residence in the 800 block of Bailey in reference to a burglary of a vehicle and trespassing.

August 15th

  • 1:51 a.m. Brownwood Police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 2400 block of Southside Drive. During the course of the stop officers arrested the driver for possession of marijuana, less than two ounces, in a drug free zone.
