CRIMINAL MISCHIEF – Officers were dispatched to the 1600 block of Melwood for a report of criminal mischief. Information was gathered and a report was generated.
THEFT – On Friday April 26, 2019, officers were dispatched to the 400 block of West Commerce for a report of theft. When officers arrived the asset protection associate had the subject detained in the office. Information was gathered and a citation for theft was issued to the subject.
RESIST ARREST SEARCH OR TRANSPORT – On Friday, April 26, 2019, Officers of the Brownwood Police Department were dispatched to 1050 W Commerce in regards to found property. The complainant advised that someone found his lost property at a North Brownwood business. During the investigation, the suspect was found to a have warrant out for his arrest. While being to place the suspect in handcuffs, he actively resisted. The suspect was arrested, and a report was completed.
POSS MARIJUANA < 2OZ – On 04/26/19, Brownwood PD was dispatched to a south Brownwood address in regards to two men arguing in a residence, which resulted in the arrest of one male for possession of Marijuana
FORGERY GOVT/NATIONAL INST/MONEY/SECURITY – On Saturday April 27, 2019, at approximately 3:20 AM, Officers responded to 503 Walnut in reference to someone being outside the residence. After speaking with a male suspect on scene the male was found to have an active warrant. The male was placed in custody and transported to Brown County Jail.
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF >=$100<$750 – On April 27, 2019, at 0946 hours, a Brownwood PD Officer was dispatched to the 1400 block of Waco in reference to criminal mischief of a vehicle. A suspect was named, and a report was generated.
THEFT PROP <$100 – On April 27, 2019 at 10:11 PM, a Brownwood Officer was dispatched to 300 E. Commerce in reference to a shoplifter. The officer recognized the female suspect from previous encounters and the female was located at a separate location and arrested for Theft of Property
POSS MARIJUANA < 2oz / POSS CS PG 3 < 28G / TAMPER/FABRICATE PHYSICAL EVID W/INTENT TO IMPAIR / HEFT PROP <$2,500 2 MORE PREV CONV – On 4/28/2019 Brownwood Police conducted a pedestrian stop in the 500 block of Elm Street which resulted in the arrest of a known female.
