citbankrobberyvideopicLate Friday evening, Brownwood Police were able to release video of the January 7, 2010 robbery of the Citibank in Brownwood.  Video quality is poor; however, the suspect was caught on surveillance during the entire crime, which took less than a minute to commit according to time stamps on video provided.

“Nobody wants this man caught more than we do,” Sgt Troy Carroll of the Brownwood Police department said.  “We have multiple tips coming in already, which are being followed up on…I feel certain we are going to catch this guy”.

The suspect is seen casually walking into the bank, to the counter, and handing the teller a note which reportedly instructed her to place the money in the bag the man provided.  After the teller quickly did so, the man left the building walking out the front door and then running through the first lane of the drive through.  He was then seen running down the alleyway south, towards Dairy Queen.

The suspect was wearing a black quilted thigh length coat, blue toboggan, white sunglasses, and white sneakers.  He has a dark complexion and is 5 foot 5 inches tall, is in his 20s, and appeared to be between 125-140 pounds.
