Brownwood News – On Saturday, October 20, 2018 at approximately 10:00am, Brownwood Police were notified of a subject who was armed with a handgun and had threatened family members.

The subject, Luis Rivera Cintron, H/M, 33 years of age, was reportedly at an apartment complex in the 2100 block of Morris Sheppard Drive. When officers arrived in the area, Cintron was observed walking alongside the 4200 block of US Hwy 377. When the suspect observed officers, he fled on foot jumping into a creek. He was last seen in the area of County Road 235 and 234 running on foot.

Luis Cintron was last seen wearing a grey hooded jacket, black shirt, and black shorts. The suspect may have removed the grey hooded jacket. Cintron is approximately 5’02” tall, 175 pounds and has short black hair. He has numerous tattoos on his chest, back and head. He is believed to be armed with a handgun.

Cintron has an active warrant for his arrest for Sexual Assault of a Child.

Luis Cintron should be considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts should call 911.
