Brownwood News – The following calls for service were responded to by the Brownwood Police Department and were included in their offense and incident report released on Friday, June 7.
- On Tuesday, June 4, 2019 officers were dispatched to the 3100 block of 4th street for a report of criminal mischief. Information was gathered from the scene and a report was generated.
- On Wednesday, June 5, 2019, at approximately 1337 hours, an Officer was dispatched to a south Brownwood address in the 1000 block of Vincent Street regarding a Domestic Disturbance. Upon arrival and investigation, an arrest was completed.
- On June 5, 2019, an Officer was dispatched to a church in the 700 block of Main in reference to stolen property. A report was generated and further investigation is needed.
- On 06/06/2019, Brownwood Police Detectives went to the 600 block of 5th Street looking for wanted suspects. Several suspects were located with warrants and the male suspect was also charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, as well as Possession of a Controlled Substance PG 1.
- On Thursday, June 06, 2019 at approximately 1532 hours, an Officer was dispatched to a south Brownwood business in the 2800 block of Southside Drive regarding a call for a skimmer they located. An investigation and a report was completed.
- On 6-6-19 at approximately 2129 hrs, officers were dispatched to a North Brownwood apartment complex in the 1600 block of Melwood Avenue in reference to a domestic disturbance. During this call, information was obtained that a male and female had assaulted one another. Both parties were separated and an active report was generated.
- On 6-6-19, at approximately 2224 hrs, a Brownwood Police Officer was dispatched to the police department (1050 W Commerce St) in reference to a follow up call regarding harassment. An active report was generated.
- On Friday June 7th, 2019 at approximately 0131 hours, Officers with the Brownwood Police Department stopped an individual with a possible warrant in the 900 block of Booker Street. A woman was identified and confirmed to have a warrant. She fled arrest heading northbound and was not seen again.
