December 29th

*7:46 a.m. Brownwood Police responded to the 2700 block of Good Shepherd Dr. in regards to a theft call. A case number was generated and the case is still active.

*11:41 a.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 700 block of Almond Street in reference to theft of medication. During this call the complainant reported that medication was stolen from the residence. A report was generated.

*2:02 p.m. Brownwood Police responded to the 700 block of Coggin Ave in regards to a domestic disturbance call. A case number was generated and the case is still active.

*10:43 p.m. Brownwood Police conducted a traffic stop for failing to signal intent to turn within 100′ and failing to display front license plate on a blue passenger car. Felipe Antonio Ortiz was arrested for Possession of Controlled Substance PG1>1G DFZ, Tampering/Fabricate Physical Evidence with the Intent to Impair, Prohibited Substance/Item in Correctional Facility, and Possession of Marijuana<2OZ.

December 30th

*1:00 a.m. Brownwood Police responded to the 1500 block of 8th Street in reference to Disorderly Conduct. During the investigation, an underage male was placed into custody for Consumption by a Minor.

*1:50 p.m. Brownwood Police responded to the 1000 block of Belle Plain Street in regards to a Driving Under the Influence call. Jamie Sallee was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated 3rd or More.

*4:06 a.m. Brownwood Police conducted a traffic stop in the 2800 block of Southside Drive. After an investigation the driver, Amy Crouse was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated with an Open Container.

*5:24 p.m. Brownwood Police Department responded to the area of the 200 block of W Commerce Street, in reference to an intoxicated driver. The vehicle and female matching the description were located. After a DWI investigation, Machelle Oxford arrested for Driving While Intoxicated.

*6:39 p.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 400 block of West Commerce  in reference to Theft. An Officer spoke with the reporting party and a report was generated for Theft of Property greater than/equal to $750 less than $2500, Class A Misdemeanor.

*11:32 p.m. Brownwood Police patrolling in the 500 block of West Commerce reportedly observed a maroon colored GMC truck driving reckless in the Commerce Square parking lot. After passing through the red light, an officer noticed that the truck had approached the red light to enter onto W Commerce. The officer made a u-turn to further observe the truck. As the truck entered the roadway, the driver, later identified as Michael Rose, accelerated quickly which caused the vehicle to fishtail. After the vehicle recovered from the slide, Rose again accelerated quickly. The officer activated emergency lights in an attempt to stop the vehicle for reckless driving. Rose led the police officer on a short pursuit which ended on the East side of the Walmart parking lot. Rose was arrested for reckless driving and evading in a motor vehicle.

December 31st

*1:36 p.m. Brownwood Police responded to the 500 block of E. Commerce St in Brownwood, Texas, in reference to a complaint of animal cruelty/unwanted person.

*8:02 p.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1600 block of Dublin St in reference to a domestic disturbance. Communications advised that the suspect, Chance Sherrin, was highly intoxicated and had assaulted a female. This call led to the arrest of Chance Sherrin for assault family violence.

*11:06 p.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 4200 block of US 377 in reference to a domestic disturbance. Tommy Martin Adams was arrested for Assault Causes Bodily Injury Family Member.

January 1st

*1:38 a.m. Brownwood Police conducted a traffic stop on Mallory Kaitlin Hill for speeding. After an investigation. Hill was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated, Class B Misdemeanor.

January 2nd

*9:31 p.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1600 block of Ave E in reference to disorderly conduct. Officers concluded the investigation and separated all parties after it was determined no person wished to pursue criminal charges. At approximately 2225 hours, I was once again dispatched to the stated address in reference to domestic violence. I again made contact with the suspect identified as Rebecca Bacon. It was found Rebecca was the primary aggressor in assault family violence with the victim. Rebecca was placed under arrest for Assault. Family Violence Causing Bodily Injury and transported to Brown County Jail. A report was made.
