Brownwood News – The following calls were included in the most recent Offense and Incident Report from the Brownwood Police Department.
On Sunday, July 21, 2019, Officers responded to the 100 block of Market Place Boulevard in reference to quarters being stolen out of the laundry machines. After speaking to the reporting party, a report was generated.
On July 24, 2019 officers were dispatched to Walmart for a report of theft. Walmart asset protection employees had one female detained. Information was gathered, a citation was issued and a report was generated.
On Wednesday, July 24, 2019, Officers responded to the 400 block of W. Mayes Street in reference to a suicidal subject who had discharged a weapon in the house as the caller left. After speaking with the caller, a report was generated.
On Thursday July 25, 2019 officers were dispatched to the 500 block of 6th Street for a report of a burglary. Information was gathered from the scene and a report was generated.
On Thursday, July 25, 2019 at approximately 1854 hours, an officer was dispatched to the 400 block of W Commerce St in reference to a theft. The officer arrived on scene and spoke with the involved parties. An arrest was made and a report has been generated.
On 07/25/19, Brownwood PD was dispatched to a south Brownwood neighborhood at 3rd Street and Avenue D where a male was intoxicated in somebody’s front yard. The call resulted in the arrest of a white male for public intoxication.
