Brownwood News – The following calls for service were received by the Brownwood Police Department and included in the Offense and Incident Report released to the media on Thursday, September 5.
On 8/29/2019 at approximately 0200 hours, Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1000 block of Coggin Avenue for a report of criminal mischief. Police made a report of criminal mischief.
On 8/29/2019 at 1700 hours, Officers were dispatched to the 3800 Blk. of Crestridge Dr. in reference to a domestic disturbance. A man was arrested for public intoxication.
On 8/29/2019 at approximately 2100 hours, Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 300 block of Market Place Boulevard for a welfare check. Police made an arrest for public intoxication.
On Friday August 30, 2019 officers conducted a pedestrian stop on the corner of Slayden and 1st Street with two males. One male had in his possession a green leafy substance believed to be marijuana. The male was transported to the Brown County Jail without incident.
On Monday, September 3, 2019 at approximately 1915 hours, an officer and Corporal were dispatched to a south Brownwood address in the 600 block of Avenue G regarding a possible burglary. Upon arrival an investigation and a report were completed.
On Wednesday, September 4, 2019, Officers responded to the 1600 block of Borden Street in reference to criminal mischief. After speaking with the reporting party, a report was generated.
On Wednesday August 4, 2019 at approximately 2039 hours, an officer arrived at 1050 West Commerce, LEC. The officer was dispatched in reference to a burglary of a vehicle.
On September 5, 2019, at 0107, Brownwood PD Officers were dispatched to the 3300 block of Stephen F. Austin in reference to a domestic disturbance. This call led to the arrest of a male subject for public intoxication.
