Brownwood News – The following calls for service were responded to by the Brownwood Police Department and included in their report for Wednesday, July 24.
On Monday, July 22, 2019 Brownwood Police Officers were dispatched to a south Brownwood intersection at 9th and Ave. B for a motor vehicle accident. Information was gathered and a report has been generated.
On Tuesday, July 23, 2019, at 0132 hours, Officers conducted a traffic stop in the 800 Blk of Melwood. One man was arrested for Driving While License Invalid. A report was generated for this incident.
On Tuesday, July 23, 2019 Brownwood Police Officers were dispatched to a south Brownwood residence in the 2800 block of Southside Drive for a burglary report. Information was gathered and a report has been generated.
On 7/23/2019 at 2100 hours, Officers were dispatched to the 3300 Blk. of Stephen F. Austin in reference to theft. A report was taken to be passed on for further investigation.
