Brownwood News – Brownwood Police responded to the following calls for service on Monday and Tuesday, April 27 and 28.

On 04/27/2020, at approximately 18:14 hours, Brownwood Police were dispatched to a north Brownwood business in reference to a disorderly conduct call. Upon arrival, the subject was not located and Police were notified that the call was also pertaining to a theft that occurred at the business. Brownwood Police made contact with employees of the business and gathered information pertaining to the theft. A report was made.

On 4/27/2020, at approximately 19:00 hours, Brownwood Police were dispatched to N. Main and W. Mays Street for a call of an assault. Brownwood Police made an arrest for driving under the influence and assault family violence.

On Monday, April 27, 2020 Brownwood Police were dispatched to a north Brownwood business for a report of abusive calls to 911.  Information was gathered and an arrest was made.

On 04/28/2020 at approximately 10:49 hours, a Brownwood Officer took a report in reference a burglary. A case was generated and it is still under investigation.

On 04/28/2020, at approximately 12:39 hours, a Brownwood Police Officer met with a victim at the Law Enforcement Center in reference to a criminal mischief call. A report was generated and the case is still active.

On 04/28/2020, at approximately 18:14 Hrs, Brownwood Police were dispatched to a south Brownwood residence in reference to forgery call. Upon arrival, information was gathered regarding the incident. Evidence was collected regarding the incident as well and an incident report was made.

On Tuesday, April 28, 2020 Brownwood Police were dispatched to a call about violation of a protective order to be handled over the phone.  Information was gathered and a report has been generated.
