On April 20, 2020, the Brownwood Police Department executed a narcotics search warrant at a south Brownwood motel in the 4400 block of South U.S. Highway 377. During the execution of the narcotics search warrant, officials recovered a quantity of suspected methamphetamine. At the conclusion of the investigation, a woman was arrested and charged with the possession of a controlled substance in a drug free zone.
On 04/21/2020 Brownwood officers conducted a traffic stop on 1st St that resulted in a drug related arrest. A report has been generated. No additional information is available.
On Monday April 20, 2020 at approximately 2101 hours, officers were dispatched to the 500 block of 7th Street, in reference to racial threats. Offenses include Terroristic Threat by way of Intimidation and Terroristic Threat on a Public Servant by way of Intimidation.
On Tuesday, April 21, 2020 at approximately 06:16 hours, Officer Weaver was dispatched to a phone call in reference to a theft in the 2200 block of 13th Street. Officer Weaver spoke with the complainant in regards to the incident. A report has been made.
On Tuesday April 21, 2020 officers were dispatched to the 1300 block of 13th Street in reference to a domestic disturbance. When officers arrived, it was discovered one party sustained injuries during the altercation. One party was placed into custody and a report was generated.
On 04/20/2020 Brownwood officers were dispatched to the ldlewild Dr. in reference to a domestic disturbance. A report has been generated.
On April 21, 2020, the Brownwood Police Department performed a pedestrian stop on two individuals in the 2000 block of Brady Avenue for walking on the wrong side of the road. During the pedestrian stop, a small quantity of methamphetamine was recovered from one of the pedestrians. At the conclusion of the pedestrian stop investigation, an arrest was made.
