Brownwood News – On 3-26-2020 Animal Control was advised that an individual had been bitten by a dog, in the 1600 block of Ave. D. An investigation was completed and report was generated.

On Friday, March 27, 2020, at approximately 11:30 hours, Brownwood Police Officers responded to the 2000 block of Brady Avenue in reference to a domestic disturbance. A report has been generated.
On March 27, 2020, Officer Lee spoke with a victim in reference to his bicycle being stolen.
On Friday, March 27, 2020, the Brownwood Police Department performed a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 3100 block of Morris Sheppard Drive. During the traffic stop a small quantity of methamphetamine was recovered from one of the occupants in the vehicle. At the conclusion of the traffic stop investigation, a man was arrested and charged with the possession of a controlled substance.
On 3/28/20, at approximately 10:16 hours, Officer Taylor was notified by dispatch about a subject needing a phone call from an officer in reference to harassment. A report was generated at the request of the reporting party.
On March 28, 2020, at 16:44 hours, Brownwood Officers were dispatched to the 1100 block of Magnolia in reference to a burglary of a habitation that had already occurred. Evidence was gathered at the scene, and a report was written.
On Saturday, March 28, 2020, at approximately 18:39 hours, Officer Donahoo was dispatched to the 700 block of Malone Street in reference to an unwanted person. An assault report was completed.

On Saturday, March 28, 2020, at approximately 20:35 hours, Officer Donahoo was dispatched to the 700 block of Malone Street in reference to an unwanted person. A report for Assault and Interfering with an Emergency Request was taken.
On Saturday, March 28, 2020, at approximately 22:00 hours, Officer Donahoo was dispatched to the 800 block Beaver Street in reference to an assault. A report was completed.
On 3-28-20 Officers responded to 4300 block of Mimosa in reference to a theft of service. An investigation was started and a report was made for theft of service. The investigation continues.
