Brownwood News The Brownwood Police Report was issued Tuesday morning, January 21, and contains the following calls.
On January 17, 2019 at 14:51 hours, Brownwood PD Officers were dispatched to the 3900 block of Crestridge in reference to an assault. A male subject was arrested for Continuous Assault Against the Family.
On Friday January 17, 2020 officers were dispatched to the 200 block of West Commerce in reference to found property. The item in question was placed on hold at the establishment. Information was gathered and a report was generated.
On Saturday January 18, 2020, officers were dispatched to the 1500 block of Ave H in reference to a weapons offense. When Officers arrived, an intoxicated male was located with what appeared to be a rifle. The rifle turned out to be a BB gun, however threats were made to a witness which caused her to be in fear of imminent serious bodily injury. The male was placed into custody for terroristic threat cause imminent fear of serious bodily injury and public intoxication.
While on patrol on December 7, 2019, at approximately 19:14 hours, Officers were dispatched to the 1700 block of Avenue B about a domestic disturbance. During the investigation, suspect interfered with public duties and resisted arrest. Further investigation showed the suspect was also criminally charged with Assault by Threat -Family Violence. A report was made.
On Thursday, January 16, 2020, at approximately 14:04 hours, Brownwood Police were dispatched to 401 W Commerce (Walmart) in reference to a theft. Upon arrival Brownwood Police identified and arrested the suspect.
On 1/18/20, at approximately 16:00 hours, Officer Taylor was dispatched to southern Brownwood residence in the 1600 block of 1st Street in reference to a civil standby. Unable to obtain some specific personal property, a report was filed at the complainant’s request.
On Sunday, January 19, 2020 at approximately 01:18 hours, Officer Weaver was patrolling in the 600 block of N. Fisk Ave when observed a traffic violation for a vehicle. Officer Weaver initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle for the violation and an investigation was conducted. After the investigation was completed, an arrest was made for Driving While Intoxicated. A report has been made.
On Monday, January 20, 2020 Brownwood Police Officers were dispatched to a south Brownwood residence in the 1300 block of Morris Lane for a missing person. Information was gathered and subject was located.
On Monday, January 20, 2020 at approximately 23:31 hours, Brownwood Police Officers were dispatched to a South Brownwood residence in the 2800 block of Southside Drive in reference to a Domestic Disturbance. A man was arrested in reference to this incident.
On Tuesday, January 21, 2020 at approximately 02:16 hours, Brownwood Police Officers stopped a vehicle at a south Brownwood address in the 1400 block of Austin Avenue. A man was arrested through the course of this stop.
