Brownwood News – The Brownwood Police Department answered the following calls for service in recent days.
On Monday, December 30, officers were dispatched to the 4200 block of 4th Street in reference to a domestic disturbance. It was later discovered no violence had occurred at the time of the call. When checking the status of the female it was discovered she had a warrant for her arrest. The female was arrested for the warrant and also was charged with possession of a controlled substance PG 1 and possession of marijuana, both in a drug free zone.
On Monday, December 30, at approximately 13:12 hours, an officer arrived to the 200 block of Broadway, Brown County Courthouse, in reference to threats being made.
On Monday, December 30, at approximately 17:34 hours, Officer Donahoo was dispatched to the 2800 block of Southside Drive in reference to a terroristic threat. A report was completed for harassment.
On Monday, December 30, approximately 18:32 hours, Officer Weaver was dispatched to the 2400 block of Belmeade in reference to a domestic disturbance. Contact was made with several subjects in regards to the incident. An investigation was conducted and an arrest was made. A report has been generated.
On Monday, December 30, at approximately 18:51 hours, Officer Donahoo was dispatched to the 1700 block of Woodridge Street in reference to a fraud. A report was completed.
