Brownwood News – The following calls were responded to by Brownwood Police officers in recent days.

On December 27, at approximately 06:00 hours, Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2600 block of Durham for a call of criminal mischief.  An arrest was made for arson and criminal mischief.

On Friday, December 27, the Brownwood Police Department was dispatched to a north side address in the 400 block of East Commerce in reference to a possible aggravated assault that occurred at a north side restaurant.  Investigation is still ongoing.

On December 28, at approximately 23:28 hours, a Brownwood Police Officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 1000 block of Santa Clara Drive.  During the stop, both occupants of the vehicle were found to have active arrest warrants.

On Saturday, December 28, Brownwood Police were dispatched to a south Brownwood business in the 2700 block of Memorial Park Drive for a theft report.  Information was gathered and a report has been generated.

On December 28, the Brownwood Police Department was dispatched to a south Brownwood residence, in the 2300 block of 11th Street, in reference to a disorderly call.  The suspect has been identified and arrested.

On Saturday, December 28, at approximately 16:00 hours, Officer Risdon and OIT Davis were dispatched to a south Brownwood address in the 3800 block of 3rd Street regarding a theft call.  Upon arrival an investigation and a report were completed.

On December 28, at approximately 20:22 hours, Officers with Brownwood PD responded to a Domestic Disturbance around the 3500 block of 1st Street.  One person was arrested and a report was generated.

On December 29, at approximately 20:35 hours, Officers with Brownwood PD responded around the 2800 block of 4th Street in reference to a burglary.  One adult and one juvenile were arrested in connection with this call and a report was generated.
