Brownwood News – The following calls for service were responded to by officers of the Brownwood Police Department and included in the Police Report issued Tuesday, November 12.

On Tuesday, November 5, 2019 at approximately 01:00 hours, Brownwood PD was dispatched to the 1300 block of 13th Street in reference to theft of a cell­phone.

On Tuesday, November 5, 2019 at approximately 0814 hours, Officer Weaver was dispatched to the 200 block of Main St. in reference to a burglary.  Officer Weaver arrived on scene and spoke with the complainant in regards to the incident. A report has been made.

On November 8, 2019 Officer Vallejo with Brownwood PD responded to the 1700 Block of Durham Ave in reference to a Suspicious call. A report was generated in reference to this call.

On Friday, November 8, 2019, Officer Thompson responded to the 500 block of W. Austin in reference to a storage building that was broken into. After speaking to the owner of the unit, a report was generated.

On Friday, November 8, 2019, at approximately 19:41 hours, Officer Donahoo and FTO Tidwell were dispatched to a north Brownwood business at 401 West Commerce in reference to a theft. An investigation and report were completed.

On November 9, 2019 Officer Mares spoke to a female subject, who stated she had been notified by Lifelock that her identity had been stolen. A report was generated.

 

On November 8, 2019 at approximately 16:49 hours Officer Vallejo with Brownwood PD responded to a Burglary around the 2400 block of Stephen F. Austin. A report was generated in reference to this call.

While on patrol, Officer Acosta was dispatched to 400 block of W. Commerce in reference to Criminal Trespass. Subject was located, identified, and a Criminal Trespass was confirmed issued in 2018. The subject was arrested and transported for Criminal Trespass.

On Sunday, November 10, 2019, at approximately 0102 hours, Officer Donahoo

and FTO Tidwell initiated a traffic stop in the 3200 block of Southside drive. An investigation for Driving While Intoxicated was completed and an arrest was made.

On Sunday, November 10, 2019, Officer Slayton responded to 2801 Southside in reference to multiple subjects fighting. Subjects were separated and a report was not generated at that time. At a later time, Officers responded to BRMC in reference to one of the male subjects involved in the altercation. After speaking to the male, a report was generated.

On Sunday November 10, 2019 at approximately 22:01 hours, 911-operators requested Officer Self make contact by phone in reference to theft of a computer.

On Sunday, November 10, 2019 at approximately 23:28 hours, Brownwood Police Officer Rodriguez conducted an investigation on a suspicious vehicle in the 3700 block of South US 377. At the conclusion of the investigation, a woman was arrested and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance PG3<28G and Unlawful Carrying a Weapon.

On 11/11/2019, Brownwood Officer Dekeratry responded to the 700 Blk of 3rd St. in regards to a burglary of a motor vehicle. A report has been generated.

On 11/11/2019 at approximately 15:26 hours, Brownwood officer Dekeratry was dispatched to the 800 Blk. of 1st street in regards to a theft. A report has been generated.

On 11/12/2019 at approximately 02:00 hours, Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2800 block of South 377 for a call of a suspicious person. Brownwood Police made an arrest for possession of a dangerous drug.
