Brownwood News – The following calls for service were released Monday, September 16, in the Offense and Incident Report from the Brownwood Police Department.
On Tuesday, September 10, 2019 at approximately 0900 hours, Brownwood Police Officers were dispatched to a south Brownwood business in the 4500 block of Danhil Drive in reference to Fraud. A report was generated for this incident.
On September 13, 2019, an Officer spoke to a Brownwood business owner in the 100 block of Fisk Avenue in reference to a theft. The subject reported that an ex-employee had stolen money from the business. A report was generated.
On Friday, September 13, 2019, officers received a call for service regarding trespassing at a local establishment in the 400 block of West Commerce. It was later reported the trespassing subject had stolen from the establishment as well. A report was generated.
On Saturday, September 14, 2019, at approximately 0304 hours, a Brownwood Police Officer encountered a suspicious vehicle in the 300 block of Main Street. A man was arrested for Public Intoxication.
On 9/14/2019 at 00:32 hours, Brownwood Police Officers were dispatched to a residence on the 1600 block of 1st St in reference to a domestic disturbance. This call led to the arrest of a male subject for Driving While Intoxicated.
While on patrol on September 14, 2019, at approximately 1240 hrs, Brownwood Police were dispatched to speak to a complainant at the Law Enforcement Center in reference to an assault that occurred at the Camp Bowie Soccer Fields (2200 block Calvert Road). A report for assault was completed.
On Saturday, September 14, 2019, Officers responded to the 1100 block of Slayden St in reference to a stolen phone. After speaking to the reporting party, a report was generated.
On Saturday, September 14, 2019 at approximately 2150 hours, Brownwood Police Officers were dispatched to the 500 block of W Commerce Street in reference to a disorderly conduct report. A report has been generated.
On Saturday, September 14, 2019, officers were dispatched to the intersection of Asbury and 12th street for an accident. When officers arrived, the driver of the single vehicle was suspected of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol. An investigation ensued and the driver was placed in custody for driving while intoxicated.
On Sunday, September 15, 2019 at approximately 0955 hours, an Officer was dispatched to the 1800 block of 1st St. in reference to an assault. The Officer arrived on scene and spoke with the involved parties. An investigation was conducted and a report has been made.
On Sunday, September 15, 2019 at approximately 1553 hours, an Officer was dispatched to the 2800 block of 4th St in reference to a theft. The Officer arrived on scene and spoke with the complainant in regards to the incident. A report has been made.
On 9/16/2019 at 00:43 hours a Brownwood PD Officer was dispatched to 3300 Block Stephen F. Austin in regards to a theft. No arrests were made and a report has been generated.
