Brownwood News – The following calls for service were included on the Brownwood PD Offense and Incident Report.
On Wednesday, September 4, 2019 at approximately 0726 hours, an officer was dispatched to the 2500 block of Ave C in reference to a domestic disturbance. The officer arrived on scene and spoke with the complainant in regards to the incident. A report has been made.
On Wednesday, September 4, 2019 at approximately 1145, Brownwood Police Officers were dispatched to a North Brownwood Address in the 1000 block of Lackey in reference to a Burglary. A report was generated for this incident.
On Wednesday, September 04,2019, at approximately 1430, Brownwood Police Officers were dispatched to a north Brownwood address in the 600 block of Penn Street in reference to a theft. A report was generated for this incident.
On Wednesday, September 4, 2019 at approximately 1509 hours, an officer was dispatched to the 1000 block of Vine St in reference to public lewdness. The officer arrived on scene and spoke with the involved parties. An investigation was conducted and an arrest was made. A report has been generated.
On Thursday, September 5, 2019 At approximately 1400, Brownwood Police Officers were dispatched to 1050 W. Commerce in reference to Theft of Service. A report was generated for this incident.
On Thursday, September 5, 2019, at approximately 1140, Brownwood Police Officers were dispatched to the 1600 block of Borden St. in reference to Criminal Mischief. A report was generated for this incident.
On Thursday September 5, 2019, officers were dispatched to the 400 block of W. Commerce in reference to a theft. One male subject left the store prior to officer’s arrival, but was found in a nearby parking lot. Both individuals have previously been trespassed from the property and the establishment wished to pursue charges for theft as well. A criminal history search found the female to have priors for theft. When transporting the male to the jail he threatened peace officers, therefore obtaining further charges.
On September 5, 2019 at 2103 hours, a Brownwood PD Officer was dispatched to a business in the 1400 block of Austin Avenue in reference to theft of property. No suspect information was available at the time of the report.
On Thursday September 5, 2019 at approximately 2304 hours, an officer was patrolling in the 300 block of Booker, in the rear parking lot of TSTC, when the officer observed a male sprinting down the street north bound. After an investigation, a man was arrested for possession of a controlled substance < lg DFZ.
