Brownwood News – The Brownwood Police Department included the following calls for service on the Offense and Incident Report issued on Monday, August 19.
On Tuesday, August 13, at approximately 1455 hours, an Officer was dispatched to the 100 block of Market Place Blvd in reference to a theft. The Officer spoke with the involved parties. A report has been made.
On Friday, August 16, Officers responded to 829 W. Commerce in reference to items being stolen off the donation dock at Goodwill. After speaking with the reporting party, a report was generated.
On Friday, August 16, at approximately 1420 hours, Brownwood Police Officers were dispatched to a north Brownwood address in the 600 block of Sharp Street in reference to a criminal mischief call. A report was generated for this incident.
On Friday, August 16, at approximately 20:33 hours, Officers arrived in the area of the 500 block of Romines. Officers were dispatched there in reference to a female behaving in a possibly intoxicated manner. The reporting party indicated she watched the female take makeup out of a store without paying for it.
On Saturday, August 17, at approximately 23:45 hours, Brownwood Police responded to the 800 block of Sharp Street in reference to an assault report. At the end of the investigation, a man was arrested and charged with Continuous Violence Against the Family.
On Sunday, August 18, Officers conducted a traffic stop in the 2300 block of Magnolia Street. An investigation ensured for Driving While Intoxicated where the driver of a vehicle was ultimately placed under arrest.
On Sunday, August 18, Officers responded to an assault in the 100 block of Market Place Drive. The reporting party denied any injuries. Information was gathered from witnesses and the reporting party. A report was generated.
On August 18, at approximately 22:34 hours, an Officer was dispatched to the Brownwood LEC in reference to a walk-in regarding harassment. A report was filed at the complainant’s request.
