Tuesday, November 27

  • Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to Chaparrel in regards to an unwanted person on scene.  During the course of the investigation it was determined CRYSTAL GREENE had been the aggressor in an altercation with James Cash.  GREENE was placed under arrest for Assault Family Violence and transported to the Brown County Jail.
  • Sheriff’s Deputies served a felony warrant on BISHOP, SUMMER, LEE (W/F, SUSPECT) at CR 135 in Bangs. During this contact Methamphetamine was found. BISHOP was arrested for Manufacturing/ Delivery of a Substance in PG1>=4G<200G. A report was made. 

November 28, 2018

  • The Brownwood Police Department was dispatched to the 2700 block of Ave D in reference to a disturbance. During the investigation, an investigatory stop was conducted on the described vehicle. The investigation for the disturbance was concluded with no criminal offense. Seth Kaydin Rose was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated, Class B Misdemeanor.
  • Brownwood Police Officers conducted a traffic stop in the 2600 block of Greenway Drive. After an investigation Christi Hale was arrested for Driving while Intoxicated, and transported to the Brown County Jail.
  • BPD officers responded to the 2900 Blk. of Hemphill St. for a Disorderly Conduct call. Upon arrival an investigation was initiated and an adult male was arrested for Assault, Family Violence.
  • At approximately 1830 hours, a police officer was dispatched to the Brown County Law Enforcement Center in reference to Harassment. They met with the complainant and wrote a report.
  • A Sheriff’s Deputy was dispatched on a credit or debit card abuse call, which could be handled by public service. The deputy then contacted the complainant who stated an unknown person had made a purchase online using his debit card. A report was taken. 
  • A Sheriff’s Deputy responded to a report of theft at CR 333, Blanket, TX. I contacted the caller, Charles Nicks, who said items were taken out of the bed of this pickup. Information was gathered and a report was made.
