Thursday, May 24th
- (No Time Noted) Brown County Sheriff’s Cpl. Taylor Fletcher performed a traffic stop on silver Toyota SUV on US 183/84 south for displaying only one license plate. After a probable cause search, due to the odor of marijuana, a man identified as Fanuel Gene Price, Jr., was arrested for Possession of Marijuana totaling approximately 13.7 grams. What appeared to be 3.0 grams of psilocybin mushrooms were also found and were seized for testing and possible future charges.
- (No Time Noted) Brown County Sheriff’s Deputy Mason Fabbiani performed a traffic stop on a white Chevy Silverado in the 700 block of Coleman Street in Brownwood for a defective head lamp. During the stop, Deputy Fabbiani noticed a strong odor of alcohol coming from the driver, identified as Martin Valencia. According to the report, there was an open container of alcohol in-between Valencia’s legs as well. Through investigation it was determined Valencia was intoxicated to a degree in which he could not safely operate a motor vehicle. Valencia was placed under arrest for Driving While Intoxicated and brought to Brown County Jail.
- 9:30 a.m. Brownwood Police spoke with a complainant at the Law Enforcement Center who reported her debit card information was used at a local restaurant without her knowledge/permission.
- 7:30 p.m. A Brownwood Police Officer was dispatched to the 1800 block of 13th Street in reference to a Criminal Trespass.
- 9:40 p.m. Brownwood Police Officers were dispatched to the 1800 block of 13th Street in reference to a follow up to a previous investigation. The suspect was located driving in the area. A traffic stop was attempted after observing a traffic violation on the suspect vehicle. The suspect evaded detention in a motor vehicle. No arrest was made and investigation continues.
Friday, May 25th
- 3:06 a.m. Brownwood Police Officers responded to the 500 block of Main Street in regards to a burglary call.
