Brownwood News – Brownwood Police dealt with the following calls for service which were listed on the Police Report released Thursday morning.

Tuesday, 12/3/19 13:00 hours, while on duty at 2100 Slayden  (Brownwood High School), officer Bastardo was approached by complainant in the resource office of the campus in reference to his vehicle having been burglarized and items taken.  A report was generated for the burglary. A laptop computer was entered into TCIC/NCIC as stolen. There are no suspects in the burglary at time of this report. Nothing further.

On Wednesday, December 11, 2019 at approximately 08:54 hours, a Brownwood Police Officer conducted a traffic stop on a silver passenger car for an expired registration in the 800 block of Hendricks Street. An arrest was made for failure to identify fugitive with intent to give false information.

On Wednesday, December 11, 2019 at approximately 15:00 hours, a Brownwood Police Officer was dispatched to the 600 block of Fisk Avenue. An arrest was made for Assault Causes Bodily Injury.

On Thursday December 12, 2019, Officer Mares spoke to a female subject in reference to her vehicle being stolen. The female stated that a male subject had asked to borrow her vehicle to go to Wal-Mart. After several hours, the male had not returned the vehicle and had not responded to the owner of the vehicle. A report was generated.
