Brownwood News – The following calls for service were included in the Offense and Incident Report from the Brownwood Police Department, released on Wednesday, July 3, 2019.
On Monday, July 1, 2019 at approximately 19:27 hours, an officer was dispatched to the 1700 block of Ave B in reference to a burglary of a building. The officer arrived on scene and spoke with the complainant in reference to the incident. A report has been made.
On 7/2/19, at approximately 10:00 hrs, an officer was dispatched to the Brownwood LEC in reference to theft. A report was generated at the complainant’s request.
On 7/2/19, at approximately 10:59 hrs, Brownwood PD Officers were dispatched to the area around the intersection of W. Commerce and Main St. in reference to a reckless driver. The driver, a man, was later located and, after short pursuit, was apprehended for evading in a motor vehicle. He was transported to the Brown County Jail without further incident.
On Tuesday, July 2, 2019, at approximately 21:43 hours, an officer was dispatched to the 300 block of Maple St in reference to a domestic disturbance. The officer arrived on scene and spoke with the complainant in regards to the incident. A report has been made.
