Brownwood News – On Friday, August 24, 2018 at approximately 8:15 a.m., members of the Brownwood Police Department and Brown County Sheriff’s Office SWAT teams executed a narcotics search and arrest warrant in the 1400 block of Waco Street in Brownwood.  The search warrant was the result of an ongoing investigation into the distribution of methamphetamine in Brown County. 

 

 

During the execution of the search warrant, approximately 56 grams of suspected methamphetamine were recovered from the residence.  Along with the suspected controlled substance, officials also recovered materials that were consistent with the distribution of illegal drugs.  Additionally, two handguns were recovered during the investigation.

Arrested at the scene were 49 year old Michael Penn (W/M) and 34 year old Erocia Donahoo.  They were booked into the Brown County Jail and charged with:

  1. Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance Between 4 and 200 grams – First Degree Felony  (Michael Penn and Erocia Donahoo)
  2. Possession of a Firearm by a Felon – Third Degree Felony (Michael Penn)
