The City of Brownwood will be offering free tree limb pickup as a result of Monday night’s storm that rolled through the area. High winds from the storm downed power lines and tree limbs across the city Monday night and many lost power for a short time.
Brownwood City Manager Bobby Rountree released the following information Tuesday morning with instructions on getting Brownwood resident’s tree limbs picked up at no cost.
“As a result of last night’s storm, the City of Brownwood sanitation trucks will be picking up tree limbs for the next couple of days.
Residents please cut tree limbs into 5 foot sections or less and place at the curb away from power lines, mail boxes, and vehicles then call 643-4200 for free pick up.”
