The Brownwood Municipal Police Association in conjunction with the Brown County Fair Association will be holding a Junior Rodeo playground area on Saturday, June 14th from 10:00 till 2:00p.m.
The area will have bounces houses, a climbing rock wall and other games all for free and the public is invited to bring their children to play area after the rodeo parade. The play area will be located in the 400 block of Fisk, across from Verizon and next to Harris Broadband.
So plan to come enjoy the Brown County Rodeo Parade, organized by the Brownwood Area Chamber of Commerce, which will take place Saturday, June 14th at 10 AM.
Entries are still being accepted. There is no fee to enter the parade. Entry forms are available at www.brownwoodchamber.org. Entry forms may be returned to the Brownwood Area Chamber of Commerce office at 600 E. Depot Street.Participants in the parade will begin lining up at 8:30 AM for award judging at the Brownwood Coliseum. Awards will be presented for best in-town float, best out of town float, riding club awards, best decorated vehicles, best antique vehicles, best horse drawn vehicles, and best bikes/unicycle. Brownwood Mayor Stephen Haynes will also select one entry for the Mayor’s Choice Award.
The 51st annual Brown County Rodeo will take place June 12, 13 and 14 at the Earl Q. Wilson Arena. For rodeo ticket information, click here.
