A portion of Brownwood Middle School’s library recently underwent its annual transformation into a poetry club for students. Under the guidance of BMS English teachers, students were able to experience performing in a “poetry café” complete with tables, refreshments, and a stage set up in the corner.
Performances were held on November 3rd and 4th during class, with students taking turns on the stage to recite their selections. Performances included poetry, music, and even an original rap.
On the final day, students brought a variety of snacks that were made available for patrons to enjoy while watching the performances.
