Citizen’s National Bank hosted an art exhibit by the Brownwood Middle School Art Class from May 6-19. Student artwork of various medias and techniques were showcased.
Keith Clark, Executive Vice President/Cashier of Citizen’s National Bank commented on the exhibit, “This art exhibit is a fine exhibition of the outstanding talent we have in the Brownwood Middle School. I have observed Julie Mize [art teacher] for several years now, and have witnessed what her students are able to produce. What a privilege we have to see such fine talent develop and produce such outstanding art work.”
Photographed is Jon Tobias, a seventh grader, with his mixed media piece. His work combines a background of painted leaves with overlaying pen and pencil drawings. The tree was drawn from real life, using the trees on the Middle School campus as inspiration.
