A two-vehicle accident in Coleman County Tuesday night took the life of a Brownwood man. According to Texas Department of Public Safety officials, Gary Lee Larremore, 55, was pronounced dead at the scene at 9:10 p.m. by Judge Nance Campbell.
DPS reports that the crash occurred at 7:31 p.m. on U.S. Highway 67, one and 2/10 mile west of Farm Road 567.
The driver of the other vehicle, Charles Richard Daniels, 57, from Cocoa, Florida was taken to Hendricks Medical Center in Abilene with head and chest trauma.
Reports state that Daniels was driving a 2005 Dodge west bound on U.S. highway 67 while Larremore was driving a 2005 Ford pickup east bound on the same highway. DPS officials said that Daniels’ vehicle crossed the center stripe and the vehicles collided head-on.
The crash in being investigated by Trooper Pat Salas.
