The Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 29 year old Blake Whitehead on Wednesday, on two warrants for aggravated sexual assault of a child and one warrant for indecency with a child.

Whitehead is accused of sexually assaulting two teenage girls, under the age of 16.

Brown County Sheriff’s Deputy Scott Bird began investigating Whitehead after receiving a report from Deputy Shade Tidwell. According to his report, one of the girls made an outcry to a family member that she and the other girl were sexually assaulted by Whitehead.

Deputy Bird retrieved text messages from one of the girls’ phone that indicated a relationship between at least one of the girls and the 29 year old man.

One of the girls reported she and a friend went to the Whitehead’s house, where they watched movies, and played basketball.

After returning to one of the girls’ home, they snuck out a bedroom window and later went back to the man’s house, where he allegedly assaulted them.

Blake Whitehead was arrested and transported to the Brown County Jail, but is currently free on bonds totaling $200,000.
