The Brownwood Lions Mothers’ Club is currently raising money for the Debby Ellis Scholarship fund. To raise money, each class of football players gathered together and painted a breast cancer awareness run-through sign. These signs will be used at Friday night’s BHS Pink Out game.
The boys are selling votes for $1 each to determine the favorite sign and winning class. Donations are also being accepted.
The scholarship will be given away to a senior Brownwood Lion at the annual football banquet. Please contact any Brownwood Lion football player or Angie Bertrand at 325-200-7886 if you would like to purchase a ticket or donate.
The deadline to vote will be Friday at the pep rally.
