Wednesday, July 4th

  • (No Time Noted) Brown County Sheriff’s Deputy Mathis responded to a report of a domestic disturbance at CR 551 in Brownwood. Upon arrival, the deputy made contact with the two parties involved and the observed evidence. According to the report, Ashley Crowder was placed in custody for Assault Family Violence.
  • (No Time Noted) Brown County Sheriff’s Deputy Mathis responded to W. Main Boulevard in Brownwood for a report of Burglary of a Motor Vehicle. The deputy made contact with the complainant who advised her juvenile daughter saw a white male near the vehicle and that $10 and a debit card was missing.
  • (No Time Noted) The Brown County Sheriff’s Office was contacted in regards to a blue Ford F150 driving recklessly on Farm Market Road 45 towards Brownwood. Chief Deputy Stroope located the vehicle near County Road 239. Chief Stroope noticed the vehicle drive into oncoming traffic lanes multiple times. Chief Stroope performed a traffic stop on the truck at approximately the same location. Camon Orin Lane Worsham was identified as the driver in the report. Deputy Mason Fabbiani had Worsham perform field sobriety tests. Through investigation, it was determined that Worsham was intoxicated to a degree that he could not safely operate a motor vehicle. Camon Orin Lane Worsham was placed in custody for Driving While Intoxicated and brought to Brown County Jail and released to jail staff.

Thursday, July 5th

  • 1:38 p.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1500 book of Indian Creek in reference to an assault.
  • 2:44 p.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 3700 block of Savoy Drive in reference to a burglary.
